Irmgard
# Layout
The cards are laid out as shown in the graphic. Nine cards go in the first horizontal row. The first and last cards are laid out face-up, the cards in between face-down. Continue in the same way with the next row, which is placed overlapping When cards lie partially on top of each other so that only part of the lower card is visible. The talon is the name given to the face-down stack of cards at the start of the game, from which, after being laid out, there are still cards left over that are used for the rest of the game. This packing of cards is also known as a block or draw pile.
# Objective
The objective is to build up in the same suit on the cleared Aces, which are placed above the tableau. At the end, eight complete families are built.
# Gameplay
Face-up cards may be moved in descending order with alternating colors An alternating color order is usually laid alternately in black and red. For example, a 6 or 6 is placed on a 7 or 7. Cards in a vertical row that are laid in ascending or descending order in same-suit or alternating-color overlapping sequence are called sequences or ladders. Cards placed at the start that serve as the basis for building sequences, such as initial Aces or Kings, depending on the rules. Cards in a vertical row that are laid in ascending or descending order in same-suit or alternating-color overlapping sequence are called sequences or ladders.
If nothing can be moved or played up anymore, one face-up card from the stock is placed on each of the nine vertical columns. Now continue moving and playing up cards. Play continues in this way until the stock is used up at the end. At the end, only seven cards from the stock are placed. If you have then managed to build eight families, the patience Irmgard has finally succeeded.
