Picture Wheel

Picture Wheel is a mixture of Picture Gallery and Quadrille. This patience requires attention and a trained eye.

# Layout

Just like with Quadrille or King Star, nothing is laid out at the beginning. The foundation cards in this patience are the 2s, 3s and 4s in wheel form. The Aces also belong to the foundation cards and are placed in the center. However, no further cards follow on them.

# Objective

The respective foundation cards are followed by a skipping same-suit build. This is the special feature of this patience. The 2s are followed by 5, 8 and Jack, the 3s are followed by 6, 9 and Queen, and the 4s are followed by 7, 10 and King. In the end, this patience creates a beautiful circle of face cards with the Aces lying in the center.

# Gameplay

The shuffled stock is played through card by card. As soon as a foundation card and later a matching subsequent card appears, it is laid out directly as shown in the graphic. The patience requires increased attention, as you must remember the skipping sequences well and should not miss any cards, similar to Picture Gallery. After going through the stock, it may be gone through two more times, and Picture Wheel should have succeeded by then.
