This patience is called Hidden Hope because there are face-up cards with face-down cards on top. So you hope that behind the face-down card there is a helpful one so you can get to the face-up card.

# Layout

You lay out nine horizontal rows with five cards each overlapping. A special pattern must be observed: The first card is laid out face-up, the second face-down, then face-up again, face-down and finally face-up again.

# Objective

Ascending same-suit building on Aces is the goal of this patience.

# Gameplay

Moving is allowed in descending order with alternating colors as well as in the same suit. Sequences, provided they are in the same suit, can also be moved. If a row is cleared, it may be filled with any card or sequence. If no more moves are possible, one card from the stock is placed on each of the nine rows, at the end only five.
