Clock
# Layout
In this patience, all 52 cards are laid out face-down in the form of a clock. You start at 1 o’clock and place a face-down card, then at 2 o’clock and so on. The 13th card goes in the center. Then you start again at 1 o’clock and repeat this process until all cards are laid out. There should be four cards each in the center and at each number.
# Objective
The clock has been successful when the values 1 to 12 are arranged like the numbers on a clock and the King is in the center.
# Gameplay
After all 52 cards have been laid out face-down, you start at 1 o’clock and turn over the top card. This is then placed face-up under the pile of cards that corresponds to the respective number. The Ace takes the role of number 1, the Jack that of 11 and the Queen that of 12. A King is placed under the pile in the center.
Then the top card of the pile under which the card just placed lies is turned over. This is repeated until either all cards have been turned over and a correct clock from 1 to 12 with King in the center can be seen or the patience has failed.
