Big versus Small
Table of contents
# Layout
4 cards are laid out face up in a horizontal row.
# Goal of the game
The patience is successful when only the 4 aces remain at the end.
# How the game is played
In Big versus Small, the card with the larger value of the same suit throws out the smaller one. In the graphic, for example, only the 8 throws out the 4, as 8 is greater than 4. If nothing more is possible, a new card is shuffled from the talon on each row. The patience is played until all the cards in the talon have been used up. If you are very lucky, the 4 aces will remain at the end, as they are the highest cards, followed by the king, the queen and the jack.
# Short version
- Lay out 4 cards horizontally
- the larger card of the same suit throws out the smaller one e.g. 8 throws out 4
- then 4 new cards are laid out scaled
- Goal: 4 aces should remain as the highest cards at the end
